Black Day

60% of the registered voters voted. 48% of them against the present regieme, and 51% of them for it. Hardly a mandate. I thought JFK would do well as president. I had really hoped we'd turn that corner. 40% of the registered voters and the rest of the country was silent and accepted whatever, or just didnt or couldnt care.
Without the 'haves helping the 'have nots' we have no love. Anyone with a brain knows that the present regieme is the most powerful monetarily. Oil and gas. But this was over religion, and progressive social and moral issues. This election was not about poverty, or the war in Iraq! It was about homos getting married. It was about Xtianity versus Islam. It was about abortion, and drilling holes for oil.
It was just a black day.
